pandemic panacea
I remember this was the time when I watched Stalker by Tarkovsky and I was completely taken by the visuals. Often, my parents and I would drive through the town to simply savour a change of place and pace during the pandemic and we’d get off at isolated scenic spots and I would frame them on my phone screen. This was one such image that reminded me of the visuals from Mirror which was my first Tarkovsky film when I was 19.
