honeyed monoliths
I’m not a fan of banks or urban monoliths that have no architectural aesthetics imbued in them, but the honeyed sunlight from the dying day coloured the buildings with a warmth and softness that is rare in a concrete jungle. The windows merge with the sky as they reflect the clouds and the soft shades of blue as the sun slowly sinks into the horizon.
