This was one of the first Polaroid photos that I took when Kubrick (Lomo’Instant Automat Glass Magellan edition) arrived in December, 2020.
Taken atop my apartment building, The saturated greens and blues come together to become a kind of Rothko painting. Not as portable as a Fujifilm Instax camera, Lomo’Instant has a superior lens that leans towards artistic “defects” (for the lack of a better word).
This photo vaguely reminds me of Hokkaido when I visited Japan in 2000.
Shot with Kubric.
